It's sunny outside and suspiciously quiet. There's no wind and it's not currently raining. I feel I should be checking everything's in place before the great storm we're told to expect, but the trees you can see belong to nextdoor and the window is a velux one in the roof on the fourth floor of our house and if the wind blows this way they may take a few slates off but I can't do anything about it.
It's quiet here today. I appreciated the extra hour in bed though I was awake. A leg of lamb is roasting in the oven - we rarely have a Sunday roast and it's nice to have the smell permeating the house. There's a Quilt show on at the Three Counties Showground - I went late on Friday afternoon to avoid the crowds, and I shopped yesterday for food, so I can sit here all day if I feel like it. I've given myself a day off - well except for cooking, obviously, and M's shower etc. I might pop out for a paper or I might just read a book instead and get the news online. I might start knitting a sweater for Grand-daughter or play about with the felt I bought, or I might just watch an old film.

Sometimes a day like yours is just what is needed isn't it? Hope the storm passes without incident. We have put the matches and candles ready in case of power cuts and battened what can be battened down now we just have to wait and see.
