Worcester taken from here at 11.00p.m
H has gone to see friends in London.
So far today I've hoovered two thirds of the house - including M's room.  I've managed to get out on to M's balcony and checked that as I feared, the hand rail is rotting in the far corner (it's not unsafe and she never goes out on it).  I've phoned the collecting people to get rid of the walking frame etc.  I've cleaned M's shower - the job I hate most. I've phoned round to get someone to quote for a new front door as ours has split.  I've made a little something to post to Niki as a pay it forward, which I hope will cheer her up (I'll photo it before it goes and show you later when she's received it).  I haven't been to the bank or the Post Office as it's raining cats and dogs.
Now, I'm going to make a cup of coffee and eat a slice of cheese cake, watch some daytime TV or possibly one of a pile of DVDs and finish the button band on a cardigan.
H doesn't get back until 10.00p.m., so I'll have to keep awake to go and pick him up - possibly by boat if this rain doesn't give up soon!

Pay it forward

You may have seen this logo before on other blogs.  The idea is that I promise to send a small gift to the first three people who comment on this post, on the understanding that they will 'pay it forward' in a similar way through their own blog.  It's a lovely, simple idea to spread a little kindness - gifts don't have to be expensive or elaborate, it's the thought that counts.  I saw this post at Marigold Jam, and for once I was in time to be one of the lucky three.

So, if you'd like to take part, leave a comment and I'll send a little something to the first three.  It has to be sent within the next 365 days.  Hopefully, it'll be a bit sooner than that!
